Our dedication to being sustainable

Sustainability is at the forefront of our business and all our daily operations. Whether we collect the waste from our customers or they choose to bring it to our facility themselves, we work hard to ensure 98% is recycled.

Fletchers Waste Management takes responsibility to monitor and ensure that our suppliers and other third parties associated with our business are working to similar sustainable high standards.

Extra sustainability efforts we make

Our efforts in improving our environmental impact go above and beyond what we do during working hours. Our core sustainable message has encouraged our team to join regular conservation projects and local litter picks.

So far, we have helped build natural flood management in South Yorkshire by building “leaky dams” in the Moss Valley and removing invasive Himalayan Balsam, which is harming biodiversity by smothering and suppressing riverbank vegetation.

Working on projects like these has positively raised our vision from our day-to-day tasks and engaged us in the bigger picture.
